North Farm is now Future Farm

For a long time now—since 2016—we’ve specialized in growing and selling mostly vegetables. While we’ve always grown without any harmful chemicals of any kind, that’s ceased to be enough.

In the last few years, we’ve learned  a lot more about soil health and precarity. We’ve become more aware of our rapidly changing climate. We know we need to farm and live differently, and so we’re changing what we grow, how we grow, where we grow, what we harvest, what we offer, what we pay attention to…

Future Farm aims to:

  • Grow food without tilling
  • Learn from and partner with the forest for food and medicinal plants
  • Relish in and rely on the food, herbs and land-based wisdom that are all around us

If you came here looking to get a local farm share or produce, we are looking to possibly offer CSA shares again in Spring, 2025. In the meantime, the Woodhill International Market and Black Soil have local produce and farm shares available.

If you’d like to visit or know more, reach out. You can email us at futurefarmky at gmail dot com or give us a call at 859- two30-9eight55. The possibilities for healthy, non-violent and accessible food and medicinal plants in Lexington, Kentucky are real—especially when we work and imagine together.
